Jessica Tischaefer is an audio and video producer with a strong passion for music and psychology. She graduated high school in 2018 from KM Perform, an interdisciplinary performing arts charter school in the Kettle Moraine School District. While attending high school, Jessie completed a portfolio project using virtual reality technology to create a music video for “People Change,” a song she wrote, recorded, and produced. Tischaefer’s most recent academic interest has been exploring the unique characteristics of music as a stimulus for human memory. She recently created a documentary film with the help of her Honors Thesis advisors, Dr. Quin Chrobak and Beth Hubbard, in order to present research in music cognition to a wider audience. Prior to this project, Tischaefer worked on a variety of different productions. She filled the role of producer, writer, and technical director on the original Titan TV series News You Need. and directed an award winning music news special on the Titan TV series UWO in 30. In 2023, she graduated from The Honors College at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science in Radio/TV/Film and Psychology and minored in music industry. Tischaefer is currently working as an assistant store manager and social media manager at Eroding Winds Record Shop in Oshkosh and Appleton, WI. She is looking to further pursue a career in post production and spend more time editing videos and creating content. She aims to foster creativity and collaboration in today's entertainment media.
